About the Event
From July 23 – 24, 2024, the U.S. Department of State welcomed teachers, educators, and global education experts online for its ninth annual Global Teaching Dialogue.
Alumni of the State Department’s Teacher Exchange Programs and other global education leaders conducted workshops on incorporating global perspectives into lesson plans and educational innovations from the United States and other countries. Fulbright Teachers led sessions to help prepare students for work and study in an interconnected world. Attendees also heard about opportunities for students and educators of diverse backgrounds to participate in exchanges abroad, and had the opportunity to connect with educators from around the world.
Alumni of Teacher Exchanges will be invited to submit session proposals for the tenth annual Global Teaching Dialogue in summer 2025.
